Dear parents: May 08, 2010

Time is flying by and this semester is going to end very soon. The pre-registration for next semester will start in May; the teacher of each class may contact you for this reason. Please register your child/children as soon as possible to help the administration to operate better and function more smoothly.

The London District Catholic School Board granted the London Chinese School only the use of the facility and teachers’ salary. One teacher is assigned to 22 students by The Board. That is why we have to put different levels of students together in one class sometimes when the student number cannot meet the requirement of The Board. So the school has to collect students’ fee from the parents yearly to purchase our own textbooks, teaching supplies, and to organize our special celebration events.

This year, the Parents’ Group has decided to collect yearly students’ fee $60, high school students have to pay $120 for book deposit, due to expensive textbook. After School Program is an extra teaching program, not supported by The Board, each student who participates this program, please pay $60 for yearly program.

Enclosed please find the forms for pre-registration in regular classes and after school programs forms. Please fill the forms and return them to the teacher of your child/children’s class. Thank you for helping our school administration to operate smoothly. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

親愛的家長們：二零一零年五月八日

光陰如梭，似箭速飛，這學年已接近結束。為使行政工作得以更順利進行，自五月起，開始為下學年預先註冊，各班老師將聯絡貴家長，有關註冊事項，請各位家長協助合作，提早為貴子女註冊，使校務工作儘速完成，在此代表全校教職員致謝。

倫敦區域天主教教育局僅補助本校教師薪資及場地使用，沒有其他任何經費，可供本校周轉，所以本校仍須負擔許多額外開銷，才能使校務活動進行得更俱效率。因此本校每年必須要求貴家長們繳交活動費，以協助本校發展。

本屆家長會已決定酌收年度學生費 $60，以支付書籍費﹑補助教材費和部份行政費用；高中部學生另須繳交書籍訂金 $120，因為高中部的教科書造價昂貴。課後教學活動乃本校自收自支，非教育局補助項目，固須學生自行負責學習年費$60。

茲附下學年註冊單﹑下學年課外活動註冊單，請詳細填寫後，儘快交回貴子女的班級老師，以便統計，以利校務順利達成目標。
